AI Disclaimer & Acceptable Use Policy

PLEASE READ THIS AI DISCLAIMER & ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY (“Policy”) CAREFULLY.

This Policy applies to all educational materials, digital products, content, memberships, coaching, and Services provided by:

Prohibited conduct includes but is not limited to:

  • model fine-tuning;
  • systematic extraction of proprietary methods;
  • automated summaries for redistribution.

This includes use involving:

  • ChatGPT;
  • Claude;
  • Gemini;
  • Grok;
  • Perplexity;
  • Midjourney;
  • custom GPTs;
  • private AI systems;
  • enterprise AI systems;
  • future AI technologies.

You may not use RMG content to create:

DERIVATIVE EDUCATIONAL PRODUCTS

or substantially similar competing products derived from proprietary materials.

Unauthorized use constitutes:

A MATERIAL BREACH OF OUR AGREEMENTS.

5. LIMITED PERSONAL AI USE

Nothing in this Policy prohibits:

LIMITED PERSONAL, NON-COMMERCIAL USE

of general concepts learned through the Services.

However, you may not:

  • reproduce proprietary systems;
  • recreate confidential workflows;
  • generate competing courses;
  • teach proprietary methods;
  • commercially exploit protected educational materials.

GENERAL INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE IS NOT OWNED.

However:

7. COPYRIGHT & FAIR USE DISCLAIMER

AI systems may create uncertainty regarding:

Nothing in the Services guarantees:

COPYRIGHT SAFETY OR FAIR USE PROTECTION.

You remain solely responsible for obtaining:

8. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to:

  • costs

arising out of or relating to:

  • your use of AI;
  • misuse of AI outputs;
  • publication decisions;
  • copyright claims;
  • privacy claims;
  • defamation claims;
  • unlawful conduct;
  • misuse of proprietary materials;
  • prohibited AI training;
  • scraping;
  • derivative educational products;
  • violation of this Policy;
  • violation of law.

This obligation survives termination.

EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW

9. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

THE SERVICES AND ANY AI-RELATED INFORMATION ARE PROVIDED:

“AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”

RMG News Academy makes no guarantee regarding:

  • AI reliability;
  • factual accuracy;
  • publication safety;
  • legal compliance;
  • copyright protection;
  • fair use outcomes;
  • journalism outcomes;
  • business outcomes;
  • monetization;
  • licensing success.

Nothing in the Services guarantees:

ANY PARTICULAR RESULT.

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • hallucinated information;
  • publication disputes;
  • copyright disputes;
  • privacy claims;
  • defamation claims;
  • legal consequences;
  • monetization failures;
  • licensing losses;
  • reputational harm;
  • business interruption;
  • lost profits;
  • indirect damages;
  • incidental damages;
  • consequential damages;
  • punitive damages.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY

shall not exceed:

for the applicable Service giving rise to the claim during the preceding:

TWELVE (12) MONTHS.

  • consumer rights

vary substantially between jurisdictions.

You remain solely responsible for complying with laws applicable to your:

LOCATION, ACTIVITIES, AND PUBLICATIONS.

Nothing in this Policy limits:

NON-WAIVABLE LEGAL RIGHTS

where required by applicable law.

12. GOVERNING LAW

This Policy shall be governed exclusively by:

  • dispute resolution.

14. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of this Policy is determined unenforceable:

THE REMAINING PROVISIONS SHALL REMAIN IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT.

15. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This Policy shall be interpreted consistently with:

  • Terms of Service & User Agreement;
  • Licensing & Usage Terms;
  • DMCA / Copyright Policy;
  • Privacy Policy;
  • Website Disclaimer & Legal Notice;
  • Media & Journalism Legal Notice.

In the event of a direct conflict between this Disclaimer and Policy and the:

TERMS OF SERVICE & USER AGREEMENT

the Terms of Service shall control,

except where expressly stated otherwise or where prohibited by applicable law.
