Refund & Billing Policy

PLEASE READ THIS REFUND & BILLING POLICY (“Policy”) CAREFULLY.

This Policy applies to all purchases made from:

d/b/a RMG News Academy

United States

(“RMG News Academy,” “Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

This Policy governs:

  • courses;
  • memberships;
  • coaching;
  • webinars;
  • livestreams;
  • digital products;
  • educational materials;
  • subscriptions;
  • payment plans;
  • future offerings;
  • related Services

(collectively, the “Services”).

By purchasing any Service, you acknowledge and agree to this Policy.

If you do not agree:

DO NOT PURCHASE THE SERVICES.

1. IMPORTANT NOTICE

PLEASE READ THIS POLICY CAREFULLY BEFORE PURCHASE.

The Services include:

DIGITAL EDUCATIONAL CONTENT

that may provide:

  • immediate access;
  • downloadable materials;
  • proprietary systems;
  • educational videos;
  • restricted member content;
  • digital communities.

Because access may begin immediately:

REFUND ELIGIBILITY MAY BE LIMITED

once content has been accessed.

This Policy materially affects your rights.

2. GENERAL REFUND POLICY

RMG News Academy offers a:

FOURTEEN (14) DAY LIMITED REFUND WINDOW

for eligible purchases.

To qualify for a refund request:

You must:

\(A\) SUBMIT YOUR REQUEST WITHIN FOURTEEN (14) DAYS OF PURCHASE

and

\(B\) HAVE ACCESSED LESS THAN TWENTY-FIVE PERCENT (25%) OF THE APPLICABLE COURSE OR PROGRAM CONTENT.

Both requirements must be satisfied.

Refund eligibility is determined using:

  • watch history;
  • completion data;
  • login history;
  • access records;
  • download history;
  • account activity;
  • platform analytics.

Failure to satisfy both requirements may result in:

REFUND DENIAL,

except where required by applicable law.

3. NON-REFUNDABLE PURCHASES

The following purchases are generally:

NON-REFUNDABLE

including but not limited to:

  • completed courses exceeding twenty-five percent (25%) access;
  • downloaded proprietary materials;
  • completed coaching sessions;
  • completed consulting;
  • private strategy sessions;
  • custom services;
  • completed memberships;
  • expired refund periods;
  • chargeback abuse situations;
  • violations of Terms of Service;
  • piracy-related account terminations.

No refunds shall be provided:

EXCEPT WHERE REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW.

4. DIGITAL CONTENT ACCESS & REFUND ELIGIBILITY

Because the Services contain:

IMMEDIATELY ACCESSIBLE DIGITAL EDUCATIONAL CONTENT,

refund abuse prevention measures apply.

Users who:

  • substantially consume content;
  • binge-watch materials;
  • rapidly access modules;
  • download proprietary materials;
  • materially benefit from the Services

may become:

INELIGIBLE FOR REFUNDS.

Access behavior may be reviewed using:

  • watch history;
  • timestamps;
  • login records;
  • download activity;
  • completion percentages;
  • platform analytics.

Refunds are intended for:

GOOD-FAITH CUSTOMER CONCERNS,

not temporary access to proprietary content.

5. HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND

Refund requests must be submitted to:

billing@rmgnewsacademy.com

and include:

  • full legal name;
  • purchase email address;
  • purchase date;
  • order details;
  • reason for request.

Incomplete requests may delay review.

Refund requests may be denied if required information is not provided.

6. REFUND REVIEW PROCESS

Refund requests are reviewed individually.

RMG News Academy reserves the right to review:

  • watch history;
  • access logs;
  • login history;
  • account activity;
  • download activity;
  • purchase records;
  • communication history.

We reserve the right to deny refund requests that:

  • exceed usage limits;
  • violate this Policy;
  • involve abuse;
  • involve piracy;
  • involve account sharing;
  • involve fraudulent conduct.

7. SUBSCRIPTIONS & MEMBERSHIPS

If subscriptions or recurring memberships are offered:

RECURRING BILLING APPLIES

unless cancelled before renewal.

Cancellation:

PREVENTS FUTURE BILLING ONLY.

Cancellation does not entitle users to:

  • prorated refunds;
  • partial refunds;
  • retroactive refunds.

Forgotten cancellations do not create refund eligibility,

except where required by applicable law.

8. PAYMENT PLANS

If payment plans are offered:

You agree to complete:

ALL REQUIRED PAYMENTS.

Payment plans are:

NOT SUBSCRIPTIONS

unless expressly stated otherwise.

Failure to complete installment payments does not:

  • cancel obligations;
  • void balances owed;
  • eliminate amounts due.

RMG News Academy reserves the right to:

  • retry payments;
  • suspend access;
  • revoke bonuses;
  • restrict Services;
  • pursue lawful collection efforts.

Outstanding balances remain due.

9. CHARGEBACKS & PAYMENT DISPUTES

Before initiating any:

  • chargeback;
  • payment dispute;
  • billing complaint;
  • processor dispute;

you agree to first contact:

to seek good-faith resolution.

Improper, abusive, fraudulent, or bad-faith chargebacks may result in:

  • account suspension;
  • permanent revocation of access;
  • collections activity;
  • denial of future purchases;
  • legal enforcement.

To defend payment disputes, RMG News Academy may provide processors with:

  • purchase records;
  • watch history;
  • completion percentages;
  • login history;
  • IP logs;
  • access history;
  • acceptance records;
  • account activity.

10. DIGITAL CONTENT WAIVER (EU / UK / INTERNATIONAL USERS)

Where permitted by law, by purchasing digital educational content and requesting immediate access, you expressly:

CONSENT TO IMMEDIATE PERFORMANCE

and acknowledge that:

CERTAIN STATUTORY CANCELLATION RIGHTS MAY BE WAIVED

once access begins.

This provision particularly applies to:

  • European Union residents;
  • United Kingdom residents;
  • jurisdictions recognizing digital cooling-off periods;

to the fullest extent permitted by law.

11. REFUNDS ISSUED

Approved refunds, when granted, may be issued to:

THE ORIGINAL PAYMENT METHOD

where feasible.

Refund timing depends upon:

  • banks;
  • card issuers;
  • payment processors.

RMG News Academy is not responsible for processing delays outside its control.

12. ACCOUNT TERMINATION & REFUNDS

Users terminated for:

  • piracy;
  • account sharing;
  • fraud;
  • abuse;
  • confidentiality breaches;
  • unauthorized redistribution;
  • Terms violations

may become:

INELIGIBLE FOR REFUNDS,

except where required by applicable law.

13. DISCLAIMER OF GUARANTEES

RMG News Academy makes:

NO GUARANTEES

regarding:

  • earnings;
  • monetization;
  • footage sales;
  • licensing success;
  • business growth;
  • journalism success.

Dissatisfaction with outcomes alone does not create refund eligibility.

14. INTERNATIONAL USERS

Consumer laws vary between jurisdictions.

Nothing in this Policy limits:

NON-WAIVABLE LEGAL RIGHTS

where required by applicable law.

15. GOVERNING LAW

This Policy shall be governed exclusively by:

THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA

without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Disputes relating to this Policy shall be governed by the:

TERMS OF SERVICE & USER AGREEMENT

including mandatory arbitration provisions.

16. SURVIVAL

The following provisions survive termination indefinitely:

  • payment obligations;
  • chargeback protections;
  • refund restrictions;
  • dispute protections;
  • governing law.

17. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of this Policy is determined unenforceable:

THE REMAINING PROVISIONS SHALL REMAIN IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT.

18. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This Policy shall be interpreted consistently with:

  • Terms of Service & User Agreement;
  • Licensing & Usage Terms;
  • Privacy Policy;
  • Website Disclaimer & Legal Notice;
  • Disclaimer & Assumption of Risk;
  • Media Ethics Disclaimer.

In the event of a direct conflict between this Policy and the:

TERMS OF SERVICE & USER AGREEMENT

the Terms of Service shall control,

except where expressly stated otherwise or where prohibited by applicable law.
